By accepting this PO, the supplier agrees to all terms and conditions listed here.
- Please confirm price & delivery. Stanford MFG must be notified immediately if this order is delayed and the due date cannot be achieved.
- Quality -The supplier's inspection system shall be consistent and compliant with Stanford Manufacturing Quality System and is subject to review and approval by Stanford Manufacturing Quality Assurance prior to purchase agreement. Certification to a higher standard quality system, such as AS 9100, ISO 9001, etc. is recommended, but not mandatory. Compliance with the provisions of this clause in no way relieves the seller of the final responsibility to furnish acceptable supplies or services in accordance with Stanford Manufacturing purchase order requirements.
- Right of entry-Supplier acknowledges Stanford MFG's right of access to its facilities, product, and/or related quality records at any time, by Stanford MFG, its customer, or regulatory authorities in order to verify quality of products or work. Right of access may be limited to only those records and product applicable to Stanford MFG’s products or contracts.
- Non-conforming/Counterfeit product -Supplier must notify Stanford Manufacturing if any nonconformities were detected after shipment and potential nonconforming product was released to Stanford Manufacturing including counterfeit product. Stanford Manufacturing will not utilize counterfeit parts, and must do everything possible with its suppliers and sub-tier suppliers to prevent the use of counterfeit parts. Supplier is to notify Stanford MFG immediately of unexpected anomalies, nonconformances, changes in product and/or process, changes of suppliers, and/or changes of manufacturing facility location. Stanford MFG reserves the right to approve such changes or incidents before work is allowed to proceed.
- Identification/Traceability-Stanford MFG requires documentation that enables material/product lot/batch traceability, including traceability to any applicable tests, specifications, sources and certifications identified on the purchase order.
- Certificate of Conformance-Certificate of conformance is required for all raw materials and special processes. Certificate of analysis is required for resins. Products must be reach and RoHS compliant.
- Process changes-Supplier agrees to notify Stanford Manufacturing of changes to processes, products, and services including changes in location of manufacture that may affect product quality. Supplier agrees to notify Stanford Manufacturing of such changes before the changes are implemented.
- Employee Awareness-Supplier is responsible to ensure personnel performing work affecting quality are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, and/or certification and are aware of the importance of ethical behavior and of their contributions to product quality/safety.
- Supplier agrees to comply with all purchase order requirements including:
- Control and monitoring of any special requirements, critical items or key characteristics.
- Implementation of any test, inspection or verification activities
- The use of specific, identified suppliers or approved sources of product and services
Before accepting this purchase order, supplier agrees to notify Stanford Manufacturing if supplier intends to use statistical techniques for product acceptance purposes.
- Corrective action-Supplier agrees to the continual monitoring and evaluation of on time delivery and product conformity associated with the purchase order by Stanford MFG. Stanford MFG may issue corrective action requests to Suppliers who underperform or continually fail to conform to purchase order requirements. Supplier agrees to address and resolve any corrective action request submitted by Stanford MFG.
- Sub-tier Suppliers-Supplier shall not assign this order or subcontract this order without prior written consent of Purchaser.
- Packaging-All items must be packaged to prevent damage during shipment.
- Shelf Life-If a Product described in this Purchase Order has a shelf life, the shelf life must be clearly indicated on the individual item, and the remaining shelf life at the time of delivery shall not be less than eighty percent (80%) of the total shelf life of such item.
- Record retention-Records pertaining to the manufacture, inspection and test of Stanford MFG’s products shall be retained for a minimum of 11 years. Records that are no longer maintained must be destroyed versus discarded.
